D.V.'s Gold Shadow, "Fletch"

Gender: Male
D.O.B: July 15, 2008
Weight: 75 pounds
Small Pet Safe: Yes
Color: Fawn

Fletch has settled in wonderfully here in his foster home. He is a medium-sized fawn boy, long and lean with white socks and a white tail tip. He has a a black snout that is just starting to grey and betray his age of almost seven — though the rest of him certainly looks younger. He has beautiful natural eyeliner that compliments his deep brown eyes as he walks around with his head lowered.
He is very obedient and knows his name very well. He comes when called, and can tell by the tone of your voice when you mean business. He has never barked or inside the house, though you might experience some separation anxiety (howling) for the first week or two. After he settles in, he is perfectly fine being left at home all day while you are at work.
Fletch almost always needs to be in the same room as his human — if he's not sticking his long nose in your business, he'll be watching from afar. He likes to cuddle on the couch or bed, though he'll usually wait for you to make the first move.
He seems mostly cat safe, though can get pretty curious if they start darting around and especially if they are outside. If you have a less active cat, he can almost certainly be taught to play nice. Fletch gets along very well with other dogs (including small ones) and might even be happiest with a companion to share the house with if you're out for most of the day. He is generally pretty submissive. He is also small-child safe and loves to get pets from kids when we are out for walks.
He loves to go for long walks. He can go a day or two without exercise but he really loves his walks and being outside with you. I can't tell you how many times I've been showered with calls of "beautiful dog!" when we're out walking.

If you're looking for a slender, graceful, quiet and well-behaved dog, Fletch is the dog for you. Just don't leave any food lying around!

*** Don't Forget to check out my other foster brother's and sisters.  All of us would like to find out forever home.
